The Wild Rose Ball Hockey Alberta is a registered society in the province of Alberta with a Board of Directors voted in by the Member Leagues and is accountable for the growth and development of the sanctioned sport of ball hockey in the province. WRBHA is the oldest association in Canada and the official Provincial Sport Organization in Alberta recognized by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association. The CBHA is the National Sport Organization, (and an affiliate partner of Hockey Canada), who is recognized by the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF) who is the International Sport Federation (affiliated with the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF) with the future authority to one day earn IOC Membership.
Leagues can apply for membership at the WRBHA Annual Fall or Spring Meetings. Member Leagues pay a membership fee of $185.00 per team. All Members in good standing are eligible to benefit from features of membership including the opportunity to represent at sanctioned Provincial, National and International Tournaments.
WRBHA does not govern the day to day business of its Member Leagues.
