Remembering Steve Posavec

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve Posavec, a true pioneer and beloved member of the CBHA family. Steve's dedication to ball hockey was unmatched, and his contributions have left an indelible mark on the sport.

From his early involvement in the creation of the International Ball Hockey Federation to guiding Quebec and Manitoba back into the CBHA, Steve was instrumental in shaping the future of ball hockey in Canada. As President of Canada Ball Hockey and an influential figure in Alberta, he helped grow the sport to unprecedented heights.

Steve was not only a leader but also a player, coach, and mentor. His passion for the game was a family affair, shared with his wife Cynthia and their son Adam. His legacy will live on through the countless players and friends he inspired throughout his life.

We offer our deepest condolences to Steve's family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest in peace, Steve. You will be greatly missed.
